Pell City Utility Department
The Utility Department is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of Pell City’s water and sewer infrastructure. This includes repairing existing lines and installing new ones to provide service and fire protection for newly annexed areas. Department personnel are available 24 hours a day for emergency repairs to water and sewer lines.
The Dye Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, located on Golf Course Road, treats all wastewater from the City. The department also maintains the City’s wells and pumping stations.
Setting Up Water and Sewer Service
To establish water and sewer service, visit the billing department at City Hall to pay a deposit and complete a new service form. Meters are billed monthly, and payments can be made via U.S. mail, automatic draft, or in person at City Hall. An after-hours drop box is also available for your convenience.
