Chief Turley presented Chaplain James Dendy his credentials for his retirement from the PCPD Chaplain Program today. Chaplain James Dendy is 84 years old and has volunteered with our VIPS program for over 13 years since its inception. As Chaplain Dendy said today, “When the chaplain arrives on scene with an officer, there is a presence of God’s hand in the crisis that our peacekeepers are called to.”
