THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SPECIAL CARE FACILITIES FINANCING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PELL CITY, ALABAMA (the “Authority”) will conduct a public meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017, at City Hall, 1905 1st Avenue North, Pell City, Alabama 35125. This meeting will be held for the purposes of (i) authorizing the sale and conveyance of certain property financed with a portion of the proceeds of the Authority’s Revenue Bonds (Noland Health Services, Inc.), Series 2016A and (ii) transacting such other business as shall come before the Authority.
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Pursuant to Amendment No. 772 to the Constitution of Alabama (1901) (Section 94.01 of the Recompiled Constitution of Alabama and hereinafter referred to as “Amendment No. 772”), the City Council (the “Council”) of the City of Pell City (the “City”) gives notice that it, as the governing body of the City, will conduct a public hearing at a special meeting to be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 1905 First Avenue North, Pell City, Alabama 35125, for the purpose of receiving comments and questions from any interested member of the public regarding the City’s consideration of approving and authorizing the execution and delivery of a Redevelopment Reimbursement Agreement (the “Agreement”), by and among the City, St. Clair County, Alabama (the “County”), and Pell City Partners, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company (“Developer”), and immediately following said public hearing, the Council shall consider the approval and authorization of the execution and delivery of the Agreement. All members of the public are invited to attend the public hearing and public meeting. Those unable to attend are encouraged to submit their written opinions to the Council prior to the meeting as provided below.
The City Council of the City of Pell City will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall located at 1905 First Avenue North, Pell City, Alabama 35125. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the submission of an FY 2017 Community Development Block Grant – Large City Fund Grant Application. The City is interested in obtaining citizen input and suggestions on community development needs that could be assisted with grant funding. The proposed project is water system improvements in the Mill Village Area. Eligible projects must predominantly benefit low and moderate income households, prevent or eliminate slum and blight and/or meet an urgent need that threatens the public health or welfare.
